But a poor coaching decision benching Kobe at the start of the 4th gave the Timberwolves a 10-0 run in under 3 minutes of play in the 4th quarter. They would grind it out until late in the 4th Kobe commited the infamous "unnatural basketball act" on a follow through to Marko Jaric. Then Phil's lack of inbounds plays began to cost the Lakers the game as the Wolves brought the game to OT. With 1 minute to play in the 1st overtime, the Wolves led 103-102. But there was the ultimate confidence and swagger of Kobe Bryant. He somehow had the courage to take a long 3 in the face of 2 defenders and swished it. But Phil's lack of inbounds playbook designs cost LA the overtime once again. It became an even bigger problem in the 2nd overtime as the Lakers couldn't even get the ball to Kobe.
