Originally recorded at Bell Sound Studios in New York Jan 25, 1958 - Written by Holly this went on to be a major hit in the US and even moreso in the UK. It was one of three Holly tunes to chart at the same time in the UK unheard by today's standards. Original backing musicians were JI Allison (drums) and Joe B Mauldin (bass), Norman Petty (piano) and Al Caiola and Dominic Arnone. Performed by Buddy Holly Live! in 2002 at the Weaveshed in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada
