For a new Van Hansis interviewshttp://www.michaelfairmansoaps.com/article/http://www.thesoapdispenser.com/2008/06/van-hansisĀ  From http://tvguide.sympatico.msn.ca/The+Suds+Report The bespectacled gay icon (Van Hansis) told me he wasn't sure he'd be taking home the lovely, yet elusive winged woman back from L.A. next week. "It's not easy being nominated against Tom Pelphrey (ex-Jonathan, GL)," he sighed, before adding, "because he's so fantastic."Look for Hansis and his co-star Jake Silbermann (Noah) to present "some category; probably sound and lighting," on Emmy night. How much you want to bet this super-couple elicits the loudest applause of the night? Also, Hansis predicts Silbermann will net his first Emmy nomination as outstanding younger actor next year. "He's grown into a fine actor," boasts Hansis.Jake Silbermann: Excited to Present at Daytime Emmyshttp://www.thesoapdispenser.com/2008/06/jake-silbermann-excited-to-present-at-daytime-emmys/Monalee62, (Photobucket) a REAL Van Hansis fan, has posted in with her many photos from the gatherings a video of Jake and Tala kareokeing it to "Shake It Up, Baby". Maybe by the end of summer we'll see Jake's alter ego Noah having this much fun. http://s297.photobucket.com/albums/mm235/monalee62/?action=view¤t=MOV09318.flv Cyndi Lauper invites AS THE WORLD TURNS viewers to come "Into the Nightlife," as she performs the first single from her new album Bring You To The Brink and a stirring rendition of her signature song, "True Colors," on the July 3 episode. "She's doing a benefit in between her shows in New York and Chicago, so she made a little pit stop in Oakdale," teases Jake Silbermann (Noah). From http://www.soapcentral.comIn her Oakdale cameo, Lauper won't just be singing. She will also share scenes with Jake Silbermann (Noah Mayer) and Van Hansis (Luke Snyder). Lauper muses that she will do whatever it takes to make sure that "Nuke" is reunited. From http://welovesoaps.blogspot.com/Robert Calhoun, best known to soap fans for his runs as Executive Producer at AS THE WORLD TURNS and GUIDING LIGHT has passed away.
