A video / TV report (Sky News) about Ralf Schumachers first Formula 1 (Formel 1) test in the golden Jordan Peugeot 196 on the Estoril racing circuit. He could satisfy Eddie Jordan with his lap times and so he signature a contract for 1997 and 1998 as a race driver for the Jordan F1 Grand Prix team. His team partner in 1997 was Giancarlo Fisichella. There were also rumors that Damon Hill, Martin Brundle or Nigel Mansell would be his team partner in 1997.At the moment Ralf Schumacher is driving (after 11 years Formula 1) in the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters / german touring car championship) for the Mercedes Benz motorsport team.
