A private research group has released a list of the nation's most dangerous cities, and Orlando placed high in the rankings.Orlando landed in the 11th spot, and the next Florida city was Miami at 35. Tampa ranked 74, and Jacksonville placed at 115.Detroit was named the most dangerous city in the U.S. The ranking by a private research group is based on annual FBI crime statistics. The 14th annual "City Crime Rankings: Crime in Metropolitan America" was published by CQ Press, a unit of Congressional Quarterly Inc.
